To the best of the present mismanagements mind the Baku hash was formed in 1996 but we are not sure who the actual founder was. It has started and died twice in it's history mainly because the first two times around locals were not recruited. It was then re-started a third time on Sept. 29, 2002 by Moonboots and with the help of a strong supportive committee we have now grown to average 40 hashers a week. Record turnout to date is 51 set just two weeks ago followed by 50 last week so we are still growing. There are now a lot of locals running so it looks as if the Baku hash is finally here to stay.Moonboots has hashed in Miri (1985), was JM -Berkshire, JM - Rio, Co -Founder Rio Full Moon Hash with Saddlesniffer, and Founder Baku Azerbaijan Full Moon Hash.
